Description
There is a significant open gap between the top of the lift enclosure and the upper floor/ceiling. This gap allows the transmission of smoke, noise, light, and visual intrusion between floors.
Remediation Required
A white infill panel or trim is required above the lift to fully conceal the gap and provide a neat, continuous finish in keeping with the surrounding ceiling.
XYZ Proposal / Response
No action required. Client to engage a third party to do the remediation work.
